Nasser Ayoub aka ‘TrangaYaseBorbor’ has endorsed Sierra Leone’s first lady upcoming sanitary pad campaign. Ayoub who shared a picture with Sierra Leone’s President Julius Maada Bio on his Instagram account said he was very happy to be part of the First Lady’s campaign to provide free sanitary pads to school pupils.

Madam Fatima Bio recently announced at a press conference in Freetown that she would be organizing a concert with some local and international gospel artists to raise funds for free sanitary pads. She therefore, called on every Sierra Leonean to come on board and support the project.

Ayoub told SaloneJamboree that he was doing his best to contribute towards the success of the events. He also asked members of the public to join him and make the project a success.

Nasser Ayoub came to the spotlight with ‘1 Love’ song featuring Daddy Saj, now Diamond Saj. Ayoub has been a strong crusader for the repeal of a section of the Sierra Leone constitution that says every person born in Sierra Leone must have one of his or her parents of Negro (African) descent.

Ayoub said Monday’s meeting with the first family was limited to the sanitary pad campaign project.
