Fatmata B. Kamara, aka Faze Ya_Alimamy is a young lady of 26 years old with an innate passion for music and dance. Fatmata B. Kamara was born in Makeni City on 1st December 1994 and darkened the walls of the classroom in that city. She attended Wesleyan Church of Sierra Leone Primary and Secondary Schools. She passed her National Primary School Examinations (NPSE) and proceeded to the secondary school where she sat to the Basic Education Certificate Examinations (BECE). Her father, John .B. Kamara is a teacher and mother, Isatu .B. Kamara is a trader. She is single and has 3 brothers and a sister. She is a Christian and currently lives with her family in Wellington in Freetown.
Faze Ya-Alimamy came into the music industry in the year 2015 and she did her first single, ‘Can’t let u go’ wrapped up with a quality video, which was released in 2016 under IMC Record Studio. She is currently working with Wilbert Music Groups. She has featured with brand musicians across the country and from the diaspora, notably current Sherro Pee, Succulent, Ragga Spice, Mystic MC from Jamaica, Internet Man, King Melody, Del Vaqo, Chillout from Shatta Movement in Liberia, Star Zee Asaase Ghana Jay clef, Gifted and the Seven Figures.
Faze Ya Alimamy is admired by many as a role model as she is also one she holds admiration for as her mentors in the people of Star Zee, Spice from Jamaica, Cynthia Morgan and Cindy who are top of her chart. She is a devoted career pursuer as a female musician and this has endeared her to producers who believe in her.
