‘Jimmy B’ speaks on his First Gospel Album &Movie release
‘Godfather’ of Sierra Leone contemporary music industry, Jimmy YeanieBangura, better known as ‘Jimmy B’ will be releasing his first gospel album and movie bearing the same title: ‘Give.’
The ‘JikaJika’ star told SaloneJamboree in an earlier interview that he was done with ‘Wordly’ music and has decided to serve God through music and movies.
On his Facebook page ‘Jimmy B’ recently announced the release of his first full-length gospel album entitled “GIVE” and a movie of the same title.
“I am truly excited to be doing music for Him, He who has blessed me with the GIFT of giving, our creator, my Lord and personal savior, Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
He is presently in Johannesburg, South Africa putting the final touches to what he prays will be a masterpiece,’ he wrote.
‘Jimmy B’ played a cameo role in the Hollywood hit film ‘Coming to America’. The actor, producer, director and song writer came to Sierra Leone in the early 90s and established the ‘Paradise Records’ Studio which became a stepping stone for major Sierra Leonean acts.
He has starred and produced several hit movies and music. He is also in the business of hospitality, owning a hotel and a night club in Freetown.
