LAJ will storm the Siaka Stevens stadium on the 6th of January 2018 in a live musical concert. King Boss LA, as the rapper is also known, would be presented in a Freedom Concert by the Red Flag Muzik Group, powered by Di-Reems and All African Network.
Fans of the so-called Red Flag Movement (RFM) founder await the return of the Boss since he was arrested in the United States in 2014 for immigration offences, including alleged car theft, credit card and identity theft. The rapper spent about 2 years in detention and was released in 2016, facing threats of deportation from the US authorities.
The ‘Money Na Bank’ fame rapper has a very huge fan base in Sierra Leone and was greatly missed by his fans and music lovers.
Rumours of his deportation were received with mixed feelings and dismay by his fans and well-wishers. He was however granted stay in the US amidst appeals of acclaimed fear of his career and intimidation back home.
After his detention, the RFM CEO released the ‘Prison Break’ album with couple of songs which are currently making impact in his absence. His return is long overdue, with the Red Flag family in high anticipation to see their CEO returning to take back his crown as the King of Hip-hop in Sierra Leone, a title he has been battling over with Kao Denero, the CEO of the rival group, Black Leo. A=Entertainment analysts say LAJ’s absence had given a competitive advantage to his rival.
The Freedom Concert is a perfect event to welcome and celebrate the rapper who has been away for about four years now, according to his fans.
Some top Sierra Leonean artists are expected to perform in the show alongside the RFM family. They include thes Red Borbor, Suferior, Shatta Man, Vuga C, K-Mill, 5 Billion Strong, and Coke N Jin.
Information about LAJ’s return went viral on social media and the streets of Freetown. Everyone is set for this liberation party. All roads lead to the Siaka Stevens stadium on January 6, it gonna be Raaaaaaaaaaa!
