The first-ever DJs’ reality TV competition is underway. The showdown whistle was blown on July 24, bringing 33 DJs on board from all over the country. They are competing for a star prize of Le 20, 000, 000 (Twenty Million Leones) with added opportunities.

CRIBS INTERNATIONAL VYBE & SPIN GRAND are together with sponsors AYV-TV and Africell in unrolling the event.

The Vybe & Spin Grand Competition brings together DJs like Kelly, Kingzi, Said, Swizzy, Xclusive, K. Mix and many more.  The event is shown live on AYV-TV and other social media platforms every weekend; and it is hosted by two sensational characters working with AYV TV, Michelle and Bessco.

A panel of judges comprises renowned DJs such as Pilot CPO, DJ Jaway and Naty Dave to work alongside other DJs coming as guest judges. Weekly evictions or retentions are determined by the judges based on the number of votes earned by each DJ.

The competition is the first of its kind and it seems highly appreciated by followers. They see the event as really good as it gives more value to the art of disc jockeying and spotting young talents as the DJs showcase their skills.

You can watch this show on AYV-TV and other social media platforms. Fans are also allowed to make their inputs by voting via 2772 for their favourite contestant in Africell.

The competition has reached the semi-final stage; and already, 18 DJs have been evicted from the House. The remaining 15 plus 3 new additions are battling it out to reach the final stage. Who will clinch the covetous Le.20, 000, 000 prize?

Commenting on the event, Cribs International representatives told Salone Jamboree that they organised the competition in order to add value to the work of DJs.

“This is borne out of the fact that DJs are mostly neglected in the entertainment industry. As a sound system company that offers quality sound systems for show organisers, DJs are closed to our hearts.”
