Sierra Leone Entertainers have held a virtual fundraising concert to raise funds for orphaned children in Sierra Leone.
CEO of Shimo Tech entertainment, Hashim Savage (Shimo) told Salone Jamboree that they organized the programme to raise funds for orphans that live at Kingtom as part of help during the Covid-19 pandemic.
“They have little means of sustenance and have suffered a lot because they solely rely on donations.”
The concert attracted many local and international artists such as Rahim D Wizerd, Moriss, Nasser Ayoub, Salone CoolJ to name but a few. The event was streamed live across social media handles and a total of $2,450 was successfully raised during the concert.
“Am encouraging more people to come out and join the campaign to help the orphans. We are all that they’ve got after God. Am open to work with more peoples to help the orphans and the less privileged,” CEO Savage notes.
He says Shimo Tech Entertainment is on preparation to host another bigger virtual concert in two months’ time.
The event was organised by Shimo CEO of shimo Tech entertainment, Sajinho of Ital entertainment and Rahim the wizard and sponsored by AYV TV, Sierra Leone Promoters Union, PZ wears, Unique Home Health Care, Atlantic Boutique and Coach Kei Kamara.
